Most dealers will try to upsell you a $700 Level 2 charger plus a $1,500 install. For a sub-50-mile commute, a regular 120V outlet adds 40+ miles of range overnight — which is exactly what you need. Start with the wall outlet. If you find yourself running short twice a week, then install the L2.
